We will meet you early at the entrance of the pick-up hotel: The Manhattan at Times Square. You must wait for us at the hotel indicated in your reservation. We will start our tour from New York to Washington by bus, crossing the Lincoln Tunnel over the Hudson River out of Manhattan.
On the way from New York to Washington we pass through several states such as New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland. The distance between New York and Washington is 226.2 miles, or 365 kilometers south.
2. Breakfast stop
Since we will be getting up early, we will make a rest stop in the state of Delaware to have breakfast and stretch our legs before arriving in Washington. We will continue our journey through part of the state of Maryland and its most important city, Baltimore, to finish our trip in the capital city of Washington D.C.
3. Arlington National Cemetery
We will begin our journey through the state of Virginia passing by the Pentagon until we arrive at Arlington National Cemetery. There, accompanied by our guide, we will walk to the tomb of the Kennedy Brothers (with the eternal flame and the tomb of Jacqueline Kennedy).
We will leave the cemetery towards the Iwo Jima Memorial, or Marine Corps Memorial, where we will stop for photos.
4. Washington from New York
We will accompany you throughout the tour with all the interesting details, we will visit the most important monuments and scenes of famous movies. We will learn stories and curiosities of the city making necessary stops to take pictures.
Next, we will cross the Potomac River that separates Virginia from the city of Washington. We will arrive at Constitution Avenue where important buildings are located: State Department, Institute of Peace, the National Pharmaceutical Association and Albert Einstein Monument in front of the National Academy of Sciences.
5. Memorial Park in Washington
We will arrive at Memorial Park and walk accompanied by our guide through the places that have been scenes of movies and series. Korean War Memorial, President Lincoln Memorial and Vietnam War Memorial.
We will continue through the Reflecting Pool, famous for the movie Forrest Gump, to the most visited monuments, such as "World War II" and the Washington Obelisk, the tallest structure in the city.
We will continue to the OAS, the American Red Cross, Vice-Presidency, Treasury Department and border the White House gardens, where we will have time to take pictures.
6. The White House and the Capitol
We will walk along the main avenue where we will find several buildings: Treasury, Department of Justice, FBI, National Archives, National Gallery, National History Museum, among others, until we reach the Air and Space Museum.
Then, you will have free time to have lunch, take pictures of the Capitol and enter the National Air and Space Museum.
7. Return to New York
On the way back we will make a stop halfway and, weather permitting, we will make an extra stop before entering New York to appreciate the illuminated Manhattan Skyline.
8. Extra stop in New Jersey
We will appreciate the breathtaking city of New York at night. We also have a dedicated night tour where we will be able to take pictures of the panoramic view of Manhattan illuminated as it appears on postcards
