1. Pick up at the hotel
Once we pick you up at the hotel, we start our City Tour where we will go from North to South, getting to know its history and culture.
2. Upper Manhattan
We start in Central Park, one of the largest urban parks in the world. We will pass by Columbus Circle Plaza and arrive at the Dakota Building where John Lenon was tragically assassinated. We will see the Museum Mile, so called because in just one mile we can find the best museums in New York, such as the Guggenheim or MOMA. Then we will take the Fifth Avenue where the Apple store, the Plaza Hotel, the Donald Trump Building and the famous Tiffany's jewelry.
3. Saint Patrick's Cathedral
We will pass the Saint Patrick's Cathedral, emblem of the city, located right in front of the Rockefeller Center complex of buildings, where some of the most luxurious stores in New York, and theaters such as Radio City Music Hall.
4. Lower Manhattan
During the tour to Lower Manhattan we will pass through SoHo, where some of the oldest buildings in the city are located and there are hardly any skyscrapers to be seen, and we will reach Washington Square, where a replica of the Arc de Triomphe in Paris and New York University are located.
5. Famous neighborhoods
We will cross Greenwich Village (the neighborhood preferred by the gay community), and where the friends of the popular series Friends used to live. Walking through the neighborhood we will reach Washington Square, very close to New York University or NYU, one of the best private universities not only in the United States but also in the whole world. Until you reach Chinatown, famous for what gives it its name, it is impressive how they have managed to move Asia to a neighborhood of New York City. Chinatown limits to the north with Little Italy or Little Italy.
6. Ground Zero
We will arrive and stop at the imposing Ground Zero, we will remember what happened with the utmost respect for the victims, we will see the monument built to remember the firefighters who died in the attack on the Twin Towers. We will continue down to Wall Street while appreciating the Statue of Liberty. The last stop of this tour will be Battery Park.
7. Battery Park
The tour will end at Battery Park, where the boats depart for the Statue of Liberty. If you want to visit the Statue of Liberty, we have another tour specially dedicated to this boat visit to the Statue's island.
