6 days | The Golden Experience from San Francisco

 

 

Find your tour in the public library and embark on a panoramic tour. We will start with a cruise in the world-famous bay under the Golden Gate suspension bridge and around the Remarkable Alcatraz Island. Return to Pier 39 for a relaxed lunch before an afternoon tour that takes us to the highlights of the city, including the Golden Gate Bridge, Union square, Chinatown and Nob Hill. Our tour with a night view of the city from Bay Bridge.

 

 

 

In summer: we pass through the farmland of the Joaquín Valley until we reach Yosemite National Park. These 1,200 square miles of wonderful forests, lakes, and waterfalls are located in the Sierra Nevada. We will stop at El Capitan, the Bridal-Veil, and Half Dome waterfalls. From there we will start a walk from the Yosemite visitor center to the Yosemite waterfalls, the highest in North America (730 meters). In winter: we start with a tour of Monterrey that includes the pier and Cannery Row; from there We will depart south to visit the world-famous Hearst Castle. It was built by the tycoon of the Press William Randolph Hearst. We will tour the famous house full of antiques and see why the castle served as entertainment place for the rich and famous during the First half of the 20th century. At night we will go to Las Vegas.

 

 

Today's route takes us east through the desert and Death Valley until we reach Las Vegas. We will stop for lunch at a shopping center with offer prices, on the Nevada state border, where we will find brands such as Levi’s, Nike, Reebok, Timberland and many more. At night we will tour the famous street called The Strip to appreciate some of the spectacular hotels and fantasies, built in the middle of the desert: Caesar’s Palace, Mirage, Luxor, Paris, Mandalay Bay, New York New York, Treasure Island and more. At night enjoy one of the many shows or try your luck in the impressive casinos. Who knows if luck and fortune will be with us tonight!

 

 

We will begin our journey traveling southeast and crossing the desert until we reach the Navajo indigenous reserve, before reaching one of the "7 Wonders of the World", the Grand Canyon. They travel the southern part and observe how over the years the trajectory of the Colorado River sculpted its way to the sea, creating geological wonders. After lunch, we will continue along the east of the canyon, making stops at some of the many indigenous markets that sell their handicrafts.

 

 

After breakfast we will leave for Lake Powell, considered one of the most beautiful lakes in America. We will enjoy a cruise on the lake, during which we can observe hundreds of private caves, the famous salt pillars and sand arches, unique in the area. After the cruise, we will head west to Bryce Canyon, where the most amazing natural sculptures in the world are located. Sculptures of rocks and sand refined to perfection for thousands of years to perfection for thousands of years due to wind, rain and sun. We will see the unique change of colors during sunset from one of the viewpoints of the park. (This may change depending on the time of sunset). After the visit, we will go to the town of Kanab.

 

Lodging: La Quinta by Wyndham Kanab On some excursions, we will go to Cedar City to spend the night.

 

After breakfast we will go to Zion National Park. This park got its name from the Mormons who settled in this area. They gave him the name since they maintain that the visit to the park is similar to a religious experience. The majesty of the mountains and the silence of the desert make us feel transported to another place. Before leaving this amazing place, we will make an excursion through the park and enjoy a walk along a short path along the Virgin River. We will return to Las Vegas and then to Los Angeles late at night.
