At Axel Hotels, the safety and
protection of our guests and staff are our number one priority. That is why we
are working tirelessly to make our facilities as safe and clean as possible, as
seen by the fact that we have created a COVID-19 safety and prevention protocol
for when all our hotels reopen, called:
Hotel disinfection
This protocol ensures maximum
safety and focuses on minimizing microorganisms and specifically viruses on
surfaces in common areas at our hotels as well as in all rooms. This is achieved
by disinfecting surfaces which are or may be contaminated in a targeted manner.
This will be done at all our hotels when we reopen and after that, all areas
will be disinfected on a weekly basis and so in all rooms on a daily basis
according to the protocol. Following each disinfection, a certificate will be
issued stating that the hotel in question has been disinfected against
COVID-19, in line with public health requirements, which will be displayed for
guests.
In the room, the guest will find
extra a set of amenities designed specifically for COVID-19, which includes
alcohol antibacterial hand sanitiser gel, gloves and masks.
Safety measures for
restaurant and breakfast services
In order to make sure all customers
are properly protected, as we reopen our hotels and restart breakfast services,
we will be substituting the buffet breakfast with an à la carte breakfast menu,
in order to ensure impeccable hygiene and exercise maximum caution, as well as
maintain a safe distance between guests at our restaurants and therefore avoid
crowded areas..

that will make our guest’s vacations more relaxing. The COVID-19 vacation
